JOHN MILNER June 15, 1965 - September 3, 2015 Peacefully on September 3, 2015 John passed away at St. Boniface General Hospital with his nephew Trevor by his side, after a 10 year long battle with cancer. John is survived by his wife and best friend of 33 years Marie; sons Joshua and Michael; his only brother James (Shirley); his sisters Doreen (Ron), Ruthie (Ed) and Brenda (Steve) and brother-in-law Vernon (Mae), who was always there for us, whether it be cutting the grass or going to the store. He was predeceased by his sister Sharon and his father John. John was a kind and quiet person, a loving husband and father. Even though he was fighting this dreadful disease, he worked right up until the end, making sure he took care of us despite the pain he must have been feeling. John I love you and we will miss you forever I'll see you on the flip side babe A celebration of life will be held Friday, September 11, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler at Henderson Hwy.

  • I meet John many years ago; we both worked in the Sheet Metal industry. John was in the shop and I was in the field. I would order up material and John was usually the one to make it. I would tell him he had made it wrong and John would just laugh. I could never get John worked up, John was one of those guys that you could call a real friend. I will never forget all the laughs we had, John was a great guy he will truly be missed. One day we will meet again God Bless. - Posted by: Bruce Harris (Friend) on: Sep 08, 2015
