Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWISWALD (WES) KLAWIS Our father, grandfather, and great-grandfather Wes passed away peacefully on Monday, September 7, 2015 at the St. Boniface Hospital. Wes was predeceased by his wife Maria. He is survived by his children, Sylvia, Connie (Cam), Eric (Diane); his grandchildren Andrea (Jeff), David (Karla), Karalyn (Marcel), Alexia (Chris), Mason, and great-grandchild Holton. Wes was born in Riga, Latvia on February 13, 1926. Post Second World War he met his wife Maria in Regen, Germany, and in 1954 immigrated to Canada with his family and finally settled in Winnipeg. Wes was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, camping, and golfing. Wes was fortunate to enjoy good health for most of his life. The family would like to thank the Emergency and ICU staff at St. Boniface General Hospital for their compassionate care. As per his wishes, the family will be holding a private family memorial at a later date. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 204-586-8044

My mother (Ollie Carlson) and I extend our deepest sympathy on the passing of your dear father. Your dad worked with my dad (Ray Carlson)at Dominion Tanners for many years. For several years our dad's planned hunting trips together. My mother recalls serving breakfast for their 5:00am departure! Cherish the memories and know our thoughts are with you at this sad time.
