We sometimes meet people in our lives that have much to teach us, that we can teach others. Patience, enthusiasm, humour, readiness to help. Ivor the gentleman, always showed up at the sound of hammering or woodsaw, offering his best. Personally, when dealing with life's situations, I sometimes think, what would Ivor do, and ends well. Ivor and I spent roughly 2-1/2 years together in the Canadian Navy and time in the CNR Transcona shops. Ivor was a prince-of-a-fellow, someone you could trust.
