GARY SIMMONDS On September 7, 2015, Mr. Gary Simmonds of Edmonton, passed away at the age of 80. Gary was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on August 24, 1935. He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 58 years, Joyce; his son Jason (Trynna); grandchildren, Jake and Bree; his sister Christine (Jim); his brother Russ; nephews, Cade, Russ, James, Patrick, as well as many relatives and good friends. Gary was predeceased by his parents, Russ and Eileen. Gary touched many people in his time with Imperial Oil, Atlas Auto Parts and for the past 32 years, Boston Pizza. He had great passion and challenged others to be their best by being tough, but fair. His intentions were always clear and he expected the same in return. His wisdom and guidance will live with those left behind. At Gary's request, no formal service will be held. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations in Gary's memories may be made to the Alberta Lung Association.
