DANIEL BRUCE VANN It is with profound sadness and broken hearts, we announce the sudden passing of Daniel Bruce Vann on September 8, 2015, at the young age of 43. Dan is survived by the love of his life, his wife Susan, and their three foster-sons whom he loved dearly. He is also survived by his father Donald Vann (Brenda); his sisters, Donna Fairweather (Ed), Cindy Stange, Jacquie Ainslie (Doug), Christine Dahl (Marvin), Kandy Parrish (Danny), as well as his extensive family of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. Dan was predeceased by his mother Frances McKinlay. The family would like to thank the staff of The Victoria Hospital Emergency Department for all their efforts, compassion and support. Lamay/Viewing will be held at Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1839 Inkster Blvd. on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 commencing at 6:00 p.m. A prayer service will be held at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening, Father Renerio Dayanan officiating. A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Brookside Cemetery, 3001 Notre Dame Ave., Winnipeg. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dan's memory can be made to a charity of one's choice.

  • Dan was a great friend.The few years I knew him, he became one of my best friends. He would help out wherever he could.He helped me out many times. I went to the service,and wanted to say a few words, but was so choked up I was unable to speak.I wanted to say goodbye to a good man, A good friend and a good human being.
