Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJAMIE VEILLEUX January 15, 1964 - September 15, 2015 After a lengthy battle with liver disease Jamie passed away peacefully at the age of 51 on September 15, 2015, at the Health Sciences Centre, with his family by his side. He leaves behind to mourn his three daughters, Amanda, Danielle and Renee, as well as his mother, Lillian, his brothers and sisters, Larry (Barb), Dan, Lynn (Darryl), Sherry (Eric), Judy (Guy) and Jackie (John), along with numerous nieces and nephews. Jamie grew up and went to school in Pine Falls, Manitoba. He continued his education in Winnipeg where he received his Business Administration at Red River Community College and went on to become a Certified Management Accountant. Jamie was an avid athlete and spent most of his younger years at the rink playing or watching hockey. In later years his life was centered around his daughters and numerous pets. Jamie was blessed with a wonderful sense of humour and a contagious smile. A Celebration of Life will be held at the United Church in Pine Falls, Saturday, September 19 at 2:00 p.m., with a lunch / reception to follow at the Pine Falls Legion from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The family would like to thank the staff at the Health Sciences Centre for the care Jamie received and a big thank you to Mike Osis (Auggie) for his thoughtfulness and support. Jamie was blessed to have such a good friend. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jamie's name can be made to the Canadian Liver Foundation. When I come to the end of the road, And the sun has set for me, I want no rites in a gloom filled room Why cry for a soul set free? Miss me a little - but not for long. And not with your head bowed low. Remember the love that once we shared. Miss me, but let me go. For this is a journey we must all take And each must go alone. It's all part of the master plan A step on the road to home. When you are lonely and sick at heart Go to the friends we know, Laugh at all the things we used to do. Miss me, but let me go.

Jamie's smile and his wicked sense of humour are what I will always remember. It seems like just yesterday that we were graduating high school together. I can't believe he's gone and am so sad that he is. Sending my love and prayers to you and the whole family. My heart aches for you all. xo - Posted by: Namita Walia-Nault (Old friend) on: Sep 17, 2015

To Lil and the rest of the family I am so saddened to hear of Jamie's passing. He was an old and dear friend. I saw him recently and as always we started to talk about old times. The fun we had as kids in Pine Falls, sometimes mischievous behaviours but always with that all too familiar grin Jamie had. I weep for the family and I pray for Jamie as I know he is at peace. I will always remember the good times we had growing up. If Ted were still alive today I am sure he would remember the "delivery room" and when Jamie came into our lives. Be at peace my old friend. - Posted by: Jim Siddall (Old Friend) on: Sep 17, 2015

Jamie was so full of life… always happy and carefree, even when situations were challenging he would find humour and laughter…I am going to miss our our get togethers, but I am grateful that we met and became good friends and that he left me some beautiful memories to remember him by - Posted by: Vera Houle (Friend) on: Sep 17, 2015

Dear Lil My prayers and support go out to you at this sad time. I know your hurts. The loss of my two sons so soon at the time of loosing Norm was hard to bear. My heart goes out for you. Do you remember the night you were in labour with Jamie? You and I sat up all night playing canasta. Art (I believe) relieved Norm so Norm was home to be with the kids. Good memories of yester years All of us golf widows in the back yard coffee and kids. Remember your namesake BAMBAM? She took on all the little guys?. Be strong my friend so many friends are sharing their love and prayers with you AND your family at this time. God Bless Helen - Posted by: Helen Pachkowsky (Long ago friend) on: Sep 17, 2015

I was shocked and saddened to learn of Jamie's passing. His smile could always brighten one's day. Another bright light extinguished far too soon. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. - Posted by: Linda (Flanagan) Bryksa (Friend) on: Sep 17, 2015
