MELVILLE MORTON MACKAY 1930 - 2015 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Mel on Saturday, September 5, 2015. Mel is survived by his wife of 63 years, Joyce (Delbridge); four sons, Brian (Cheryl), Rick (Merril), Brad (Glenda) and Gary (Michelle). Mel is also survived by grandchildren, Ashley (Mike), Kyle, Lauren (Rob), Kelli, Jason (Erin), Adam (Karen), Kyle (Melissa), Trevon (Stephanie). Great-grandchildren are Harper, Leighton and Ardyn. Mel was born in Alexander, Manitoba and, together with Joyce, farmed in the Alexander area for most of his life. Mel enjoyed life to the fullest, always with a special and dedicated interest and pride in his wife, children and grandchildren. He was a great friend to many, he will be greatly missed but very much loved and remembered. A private family graveside service was held at the Alexander Cemetery on a beautiful sunny day on September 11, 2015. A community reception to honour Mel's life was held in Brandon the same day. If so desired, a donation in Mel's memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or a charity of your choice.
