ROBERTA (BOBBIE) JEAN WILLIAMS (nee FRASER) On Tuesday, September 15, 2015, Bobbie passed away at Grace Hospital with her loving granddaughter at her side. Born in Winnipeg on June 28, 1942 she was put up for adoption. After many years in foster care, she was adopted by William "Bill" and Marion Fraser from Morris, MB. After growing up with her adopted siblings: Gayle, Donald and Billy, she decided to venture out on her own at a young age. She found work in various camps in northern Manitoba. Shortly after her return to Winnipeg, she met and fell in love with Clare Williams and together they started their own family. Bobbie spent some years working for the Provincial Government. She stayed at home to raise her daughters and then continued her professional life with Sanford Evans Publishing as Circulation Manager. She is survived by her daughter Colleen (Terry) Williams-Young of Yellowknife, NT; granddaughter Jeanette, and sister Gayle. Bobbie was predeceased by her brothers Billy and Donald; daughter Jacquline, and her companion Brian Clapham. The family would like to express their appreciation and thank the staff in the Intensive Care Unit at Grace Hospital and Dr. L. Homik.
