DAVID ROSS KURCHABA June 16, 1957 - September 20, 2015 With sorrow we announce the sudden passing of David Ross Kurchaba, in Dauphin, MB at the age of 58 years. David was born on June 16, 1957 in Winnipeg, MB. He is lovingly remembered by his father Ernie (Carol), his mother Marie, and his siblings Ryan, Cheryl, Wayne (Jo Ann), Beverly, Dennis (Donna), his nieces, nephew, aunt and friends. David was a strong and courageous fellow who had lived through many difficulties and yet remained good-natured and inquisitive about what life had to offer. He was always looking forward to spending time with his family and really appreciated those times when he could do so. David enjoyed car rides, dining out, shopping and had an avid interest in trucks, clocks and watches. He had a funny sense of humour and would grin ear-to-ear when he thought he played a good joke on you. David had a good memory and would relate different stories about his life from time to time. David travelled in his life and had many adventures. His life settled in Dauphin, MB over 15 years ago. Special thanks are given to the staff at P.R.V.S.I. who provided care and dedication in seeing to David's special needs. David participated in the P.R.V.S.I. Day Program which involved special interactions, games, nearby outings and travelling afar. He enjoyed watching National Geographic which appealed to his desire to see far off places. One of David's desires was to go to Spain and he often talked about that. He had visited Florida, Disneyland, the Blackhills in South Dakota and Mexico. He was a joy to be around and he will be missed very much by the staff and friends at P.R.V.S.I. A Celebration of David's Life will occur on Friday, October 16, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at P.R.V.S.I., 424-1st Ave. NE, Dauphin, MB. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of David may be made to P.R.V.S.I. (Parkland Residential and Vocational Services Inc.). Interment will be at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave, Winnipeg, MB. The date will be announced later.
