MICHAEL OLE GUYADER
Born: Jun 04, 1952
Date of Passing: Sep 21, 2015
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMICHAEL (MIKE) OLE GUYADER June 4, 1952 - September 21, 2015 It is with heavy hearts we must announce the passing of Mike, he will be missed by all those he left behind and welcomed by all those waiting. He was predeceased by his father Mike Guyader. Mike is survived by his mother Barbara Guyader, brothers Paul Guyader (Leslie), Richard Guyader (Tracy Parisian), sister Yvonne Guyader (Lorrie Lindsay); nieces Christine Guyader (Chris Robinson) and Jane Guyader (Yvan Letourneau). He will also be very missed by his great-nephews and niece, Ryder, Olivier and Danika. Mike was an adventurer at heart, who was not afraid to explore and travel on his own. In 1978 he joined the R.C.M.P., Troop 29. His career took him out West and fuelled his passion for motorcycles, his love for the mountains, and his compassion to help others. As a member of the Blue Knights Motorcycle Club, Mike made numerous friends. He loved his motorcycles and sports cars, a trip to the Buggy Bath would be a five hour commitment to clean his precious toys just right. After retiring he returned to Winnipeg where he became closer with his nieces. Always soft spoken and gentle Mikey was always there to help however he was able. He was loved by many, thank you to everyone who was involved in his life and his care. At his request no service will be held, a small burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers or cards the family wishes a small donation be made to the charity of your choice. "May you ride that Harley into the sky forever, Uncle Mikey." Love always, Christine and Jane Rest in Jesus' Arms

So sad to read about Mike, condolences to his family. I met Mike when he was stationed in Valemount BC. He transferred to Kelowna and I also moved to Kelowna. Mike had my heart! His wit and humour surpassed all others....I swear he knew every Trivial Pursuit answer. Nobody could beat him. I've often thought of Mike over the years and I figured he had returned to Winnipeg. Rest In Peace Mike, you'll always be in my heart. - Posted by: Lyda (Friend) on: Jan 05, 2017

Mikey was one in a million. My dad and Mikey were close friends and I was privileged to grow up with Mikey close by - whether it be Saturday breakfasts and afternoon bike rides or visits to Mike's house with his orange cat and bowl of pink peppermints waiting. As a child, Mikey made a huge impression on me - with his humour, his kindness, his friendship - I thought of him as my uncle. I am deeply saddened by Mikey's passing and send love and condolences to his family. - Posted by: Danielle Shetler (Friend) on: Sep 28, 2015

Sorry to hear of the loss of Mikey. He was truly a friend, kind in spirit, morally strong and twinkle in his eye. I have fond memories of motorcycling with him and am blessed to have known him. He left a wonderful impression on my family. He also helped arrange to give us Teddy (malmute) that become a treasure. Sending my condolences to the family...Richard and Paul who I have met and specially to his mom, who he spoke so lovingly of. - Posted by: Pegi MacGregor (Friend) on: Sep 28, 2015

So very sorry for this unwelcome news. There are many, many photographs over the years of two beautiful little girls, teenagers and young women with a doting uncle - various vehicles in various settings - I think graduation was my favourite :-). Clearly huge joy was derived on both sides. Uncle Mikey is the stuff of legend. So very sorry for your loss, Guyader family. I was so sorry to hear of Mike's passing. He was such a great person with a wonderful heart. He possessed a bizarre sense of humor that has and will be missed. But...he is suited up on his Harley, hair blowing in the wind hitting the hi way to a better place, where he is born to be wild!! Ride on Mike, ride on. You will be missed. missed. - Posted by: Shelagh Krishka (Friend) on: Sep 28, 2015

Mike was a very dear friend. Our heartfelt condolences to Mike's family and loved ones for his loss. In high school Mike lived in our basement when we weren't out having fun. My mom thought the world of Mike and used to hide homemade cookies "for Mikie". One of his first experiences on a motorcycle was discovering my Honda 50 was an automatic and when you rev it up and pop it into gear you are going whether you like it or not - especially down our driveway on Ness Avenue and safely (how I don't know) across four busy lanes of traffic. He sat on my bike on the grass in front of the Kiwanis Place telling us: "It was skill boys not luck!" When he moved to BC we lost touch for quite a few years but we all kept tabs on each other through friends and family. We may have been apart but he never left our hearts. The world is little bit darker and sadder without Mike. - Posted by: Andrew (Drew) Christenson (Friend) on: Sep 27, 2015

Tom and I want to say how sad we were to hear of Mike's passing. What a lovely tribute to Mike and our condolences to Paul, Les and the entire Guyader family. Mike had a great sense of humor and I will always remember the prank that he played on me with the African masks although it was one of those "you had to be there to appreciate it". He never did admit to it but I know it was him. I treasure the masks and they still hang over my front door. Thanks Mike you really were a gentle and kind soul. Rest easy Xo - Posted by: Wendy and Tom Mulvenna (friend) on: Sep 26, 2015
