PEARL IRENE HAAS (BURNIE) Pearl passed peacefully on September 9, 2015 at 101 years. Pearl is survived by daughter-in-law Alice; granddaughter Janis (Denis); grandson Craig (Guan, Emily); granddaughter Karen (Randy); great-granddaughter Jill (Bobby) and great-great-grandchildren Shaylin, Asher, and Joshua. Predeceased by an infant daughter; parents, Samuel and Mary Little; husband Andrew; sister Iva Shaw, and Pearl's son, Arnold Burnie who passed before her on September 9, 2004. Pearl was born in MacGregor, MB. Family moved to Seaforth, ON and back to MacGregor. She attended school in both places. She worked for T.C.A. (Air Canada) prior to marrying Andy. Long time member of St. James United Church, very active and dedicated worker, U.C.W. life member and Circle 9 member, I.O.F. member, receiving a 50 year jewel. She enjoyed her card group. Above all, Pearl cherished her family. She appreciated her many friends and the kindness shown over the years. In accordance with Pearl's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family graveside service at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens (September 14). Amazing Grace' (Shaylin's solo), The Old Rugged Cross' and Pearl's choice In the Garden' were sung. In remembrance of Pearl were paper butterflies and bright pink roses as Pearl loved gardening.
