Alison and family. Just saw this. My deepest condolences. Claude was my boss and mentor at HEPP. Also raquette ball partner at CJS. He was also well respected at the Canadian Pension and Benefits Institute. I will always remember Claude and our shared love of red wine - home made and store bought. One of my first memories was a trip we made to Regina in Claude's van. Getting in to the truck the first thing he said was we need to make one thing clear I am going to smoke on the trip. What do you say to your new boss about that? He will be missed! - Posted by: Brian LaBelle (Employee/Colleague) on: Oct 01, 2015

I had the pleasure of serving on the Board of Directors for the Harbourfront Theatre with Claude. He was a dedicated volunteer and I am truly grateful that I had the privilege of working with him. He was an absolutely wonderful man. My deepest condolences to his family. - Posted by: Lori Ramsay (fellow Board member at Harbourfront Theatre in Summerside, PEI) on: Sep 30, 2015

Alison I'm so sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to you and your family. I'll never forget the time you and Claude were at my place when I was home sick and somehow Claude and I were having a very serious discussion on how to use Bread Makers and you and Joy were roaring with laughter. We had no idea what you were laughing about. Please take care of yourself. - Posted by: Flora Nordma (Friend) on: Sep 28, 2015

Alison and Family please accept my deepest condolences on your huge loss. Claude was a "larger than life guy" always so full of fun and mischief. I still smile today thinking of all the fun times we had and the jokes we played on each other. I'm sure you have so many more memories - in time may these memories help lift your spirits on those days that you need an extra smile. - Posted by: Brigitte Fisher (co-worker (TRAF) 1988-1997) on: Sep 28, 2015

Dear Alison and Family: Such a shock! We did not know that Claude was ill. We will always remember his welcoming smile and sincere friendship. He was always so open and so friendly and so real. Alison, we were speaking last night of Paula's grad. She brought it up. We remember Paula making her speech and feeling it was now a safe time to announce to her Father and everyone that she had gotten a speeding ticket on her way to her grad. And yes, oh yes, it was Claude, who secretly started passing the hat under the table to rescue her. We all laughed and will never forget that incident. That is one of our wonderful memories of Claude and we have many others. Alison and Family you were so richly blessed to have such a wonderful husband and Father in your family. We know that you know that. Our hearts and our prayers are with you now and later. You will have so many wonderful memories to treasure. Ulysse and Gerry Lynn. We feel so blessed to have known Claude. - Posted by: Ulysse, GerryLynn, Bernadette (Legault), Paula and Yvan Richard (friends) on: Sep 27, 2015

Claude was a tremendous supporter of the Theatre of which he was a very active board member while I was GM, but more than that was a good friend. His support and encouragement kept me going during some challenging times. I always appreciated that he spoke his mind while maintaining a great sense of humour. I will never forget that long bike ride from Bordon to Summerside against the wind. We bit off more than we could chew but neither one of us would admit it, we did make it back under our own steam but just barely. My heartfelt condolences to Alison and family in your loss. He will be missed but not forgotten. - Posted by: Maurice Gallant (Claude was a board member of Harbourfront Theatre during my time there as GM) on: Sep 26, 2015
