KEVIN MARTIN KUNZ June 11, 1988 - September 22, 2015 It with deep and profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Kevin. He is survived by his father and mother, Andy Kunz and Kelly Koga, younger brother Russell, grandfather Joseph Kunz, grandmother Margaret Kunz, uncles Donald Koga (Ginette) and Theodore Kunz (Allison), as well as many great-aunts, uncles and "cousins". Kevin is deeply missed by his many friends and relatives. Kevin attended Dr. D. W. Penner and Minnetonka Schools, and Glenlawn Collegiate. He entered the military and took basic training at Shilo, Manitoba and St. Jean Richelieu, Quebec. After completing his training he attended the Royal Military College in Kingston, Ontario. He graduated from the NDT program at Mohawk College in Hamilton. A natural athlete, he loved playing soccer and ultimate, as well as skiing, snowboarding, camping and enjoying the outdoors with his friends. He was a talented handyman who could fix most any household problem. A fundraiser dance party was held in his memory at one of his favourite stomping grounds on October 2, and a Celebration of Life open house will be held at the Manitoba Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre, 180 McPhillips Street, on Sunday, October 25, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. A farewell will also be held on June 11 at his favourite yearly event, the Bonnarroo music festival, in Manchester, Tennessee.
