Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryREV. HENRY ISAAK On Monday, September 28, 2015, Henry Isaak (Dad) passed away peacefully at Red River Valley Lodge in Morris. Dad was 91 years old, born on November 2, 1923 to Peter J. Isaak and Katharina Rempel. He was predeceased by his first wife Anna (Block) in 1974; his second wife Katherine (Unrau, Harder) in November of 2014, and three brothers Jake (Elizabeth Pauls), Peter (Tina Peters), John (Helen Pauls). He will be lovingly remembered by his children Julianna Enns (Gordon), William Isaak (Judy), Leona McIntyre (William) and Betsey Gerbrant (Marvin), 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Dad grew up in the Miami area, and after a few years of marriage moved to Winnipeg. While in Winnipeg he became ordained as a pastor in the Mennonite church and moved to Carman in 1966 to pastor his first church at the Carman Mennonite Church, then later became the pastor at the Homewood Mennonite Church. Dad was also a partner in Triangle Lumber in Roland, and when he retired spent much time with the Carman Housing Authority and the Carman Handivan Service. Funeral Services will be held at Friends Community Church on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at 11:00 a.m., 245 1st Street N.W., Carman, Manitoba.
