THOMAS (TOM) CONNER Peacefully, Tom Conner passed away October 1, 2015 at the age of 93 years. Tom never married but he made friends easily and enjoyed spending time with them. He trained as an orderly at Misericordia Hospital in Winnipeg and worked there for most of his adult life. He was very proud of being a veteran of the Korean war having served as a medic between 1952 and 1955. He will be sadly missed by his many friends. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Cathedral, 353 St. Mary Avenue, Winnipeg on Friday, October 9, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. Viewing starting at 9:00 a.m. In compliance with Tom's wishes his remains will be cremated and interment will occur in Brookside Cemetery at a later date.
