Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryAMY MAY LYTLE (nee GARNHAM) Amy Lytle passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at River Park Gardens Personal Care Home. Amy was born on November 24, 1920 in Fannystelle, Manitoba, being one of 12 children. She was predeceased by her husband James in 2012. She will be sadly missed by her two children, Elizabeth and Les (Eileen); her five grandchildren, Aaron, Jared, Samantha, Stephanie and Sarah and six great-grandchildren. She is survived by her sisters Muriel and Joyce and brother George, all of Portage la Prairie. She will also be sadly missed by her good friend Audrey Brown. Amy had been a long time member of Regents Park, Harstone and Trinity United Churches. She and husband Jim enjoyed many years of travelling together and she also enjoyed gardening and bowling. Mom appreciated the assistance of Les and Eileen and granddaughters Sam and Steph in her later years. Mom always enjoyed the regular visits of daughter Elizabeth and family from Australia and travelled there herself on two occasions. The family would like to thank the staff at River Park Gardens and Misericordia Health Centre for their kind and compassionate care during the past year. Interment will be at Chapel Lawn Cemetery in Winnipeg with the date to be advised. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the charity of your choice in Amy's name would be appreciated.
