  • Saw the obit, and can only believe it is the Rich that I met on a train in eastern Turkey in Jan.1974. We travelled together for a while with his buddy from Regina who I believe was Lutz.I was traveling alone and the tall guys from Regina pulled me into into their cabin and belted the door shut.In my mind they sort of saved my life. I am sad to hear of this loss. Seeing Rich's name has really brought back a lot of memories. I don't think I will sleep tonight. Sincere condolences. - Posted by: Dale Mulhall (Traveler ) on: Oct 18, 2015
