TIMOTHY DENNIS HOPKINS Following a brief illness, Timothy Dennis Hopkins passed away at St. Boniface Hospital on October 12, 2015 at the age of 86. Timothy is survived by his daughter Siobhan (Steve), son Alan (Lori), and his two grandchildren, Allison and Erin. He was preceded in death by his wife, Primrose. Tim was born on March 29, 1929 in Hampstead, London, England. On October 7, 1960 Timothy married Margaret Primrose Dickie and immigrated to Canada in December 1962 with baby Siobhan. Alan was born a year later in Canada. Tim had a variety of interests throughout the years which included fishing, skiing, badminton, tennis, and bridge. He had fond memories of spending family summer vacations in British Columbia. For over 25 years, Tim fished at Pine Island Lodge with his son Alan who guided there. On their last trip in June of this year, Tim caught the biggest fish of his life. The large Northern Pike was gently returned to the water. At Tim's request, a private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation.
