DORIS MARQUART After a brief illness, our mother, grandmother, aunt and sister passed away peacefully in her sleep at Maples Personal Care Home on Tuesday, October 13, 2015, at the age of 87. Mom is lovingly remembered by her two boys, Jerry (Angele), and Croft (Anne), her grandchildren: Cory, Ashley, Eileen, Eroca, Derek and Alyssaa, her brother Lawrence (Elsie), and numerous nieces and nephews. Doris was predeceased by her parents, one brother and two sisters. Mom grew up in Stead, MB, and later moved to Winnipeg. Mom loved to cook, and go to the farm, where she gardened, picked berries, and spent time with her grandchildren. The funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Johns Ukrainian Greek Orthodox Church in Stead. The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to the staff of Maples Personal Care Home, and a big thank you to Mario Rojas and his team of home care workers while Mom was still in her home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.

Aunty you will be missed. I will always cherish our laughts,crys, arguments and crazy experience. You have left a deep impact of tradition in me and thank you for that. Your journey was a difficult one and now you're at peace with family. Well miss you and your great coffee. Love always Dalilah.
