PATRICIA ANNE KANTELUK With dignity and family by her side Patricia Anne Kanteluk passed away the evening of October 14, 2015. Patricia was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, sister, auntie and friend. She was predeceased by her parents, Olive and Morley Ackerman. She leaves behind her husband Ken of thirty years, her six children, Christine, Shaun (Viviana and Mateo), Stephanie (Tyler), Caleb (Britta), Jessica (Philip), and Andrew; twelve grandchildren, who were her pride and joy, Miles, Tandra, Coel, Silver, Adraona, Anne-Drew, Rykeir, Deklin, Tavyn, Zephryn, Oliver, and Arla (little Newbie). She also leaves behind her siblings, Brenda, Dave, Sandy (Rod), Billy (Lenore) and many close relatives and friends. Patricia was born in Winnipeg on July 23, 1954. Patty was a stay at home mom when her children were young. She truly enjoyed raising and instilling in them her strong Christian values. After her children were grown, Patty worked hard to finish school and earn a business and computer diploma, which she used to work for Cloverleaf Sales, and later Viking Motors. She was also a wonderful gramma, who loved to teach her grandchildren about Jesus, knit for them, and support them at their many extracurricular activities. Patty was a beautiful woman with a kind spirit, heart of gold, and a smile that would light up the room. She sadly lost her battle with cancer, after four years of courageously fighting. Patty will be deeply and greatly missed by many. Our family would like to thank Dr. J.P. Donnelly, Dr. Ralph Wong, and all the nursing staff at the Arborg and District Hospital, who were so wonderful and went above and beyond, taking care of Patty. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Arborg Christian Fellowship Church on River Road. Patty you are in the arms of Jesus. Until we meet again!
