JOYCE M. ARNETT (nee TRAPP) Peacefully on Friday, October 2, 2015, at the age of 79 years, Joyce passed away in her room at Lions Personal Care Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, where she resided for the last five years. Left to cherish Joyce's memory is her husband of 56 years, Blaine Arnett. She was loved by her children (grandchildren), Carol Arnett (Talia) of Portland, Oregon and Dale and Ronaele Arnett (Cole, Evan and Jena) of Indianapolis, Indiana and Waco, Texas; as well as by many friends and family in Winnipeg and throughout Canada. Joyce was born in Selkirk, Manitoba and lived and made memories in the surrounding areas of St. Peters, Brokenhead and Beausejour. She raised her family on Fleet Avenue in Winnipeg - her home for 50 years. Joyce enjoyed working at the Winnipeg Free Press and Manitoba Telephone System (MTS) where she made many friends and loved to share her baking. A celebration of Joyce's life will be held in November of 2015. Time and place to be announced at a later date. Many thanks to the caring staff at Lions Personal Care Centre and to her many friends at Lions Manor whom she enjoyed seeing daily - chatting, doing crafts, playing BINGO and cards.
