DORA NATALIE (AUDREY) MELNYK 1944 - 2015 Peacefully, in her sleep, on Sunday, October 18, 2015, with her daughter by her side, Natalie Melnyk passed away at the age of 70 years. She was predeceased by her loving husband John; sisters, Victoria, Olga Alexiuk; and brother Lawrence. She is also predeceased by her great-niece Candice Hamilton. Natalie will be lovingly remembered by her five children, Jerry, Josie (Cory) Sundelin, Cheryl (Leslie) Fedon, Darryl and Brad; her grandchildren, Brittany, Haley, Krista, Joshua, Matthew, Andrew, Robert, Tyler, Codey and Cierra; sister-in-law Adeline; brother-in-law Dennis; and her cat Shadow. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Olga Bodnarchuk; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friend Helena and her dog Bailey. Natalie loved to play Saturday T.V. Bingo, as well as tinkering around in her backyard with her cat Shadow. She loved to bake banana and zucchini bread to share with her friends and family. She most enjoyed visiting her loving family when she could have them over and entertain the kids. Viewing will be held Thursday, October 22, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. with funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street. Interment and reception will follow the service. The family would like to thank the staff at the Health Sciences Centre CancerCare for all their special care shown to Natalie. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Natalie's name to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9. We love you and you will never be forgotten. Rest in Peace. Natalie was such a sweet, sweet lady, who was always putting and doing things for others first before herself, she loved her family dearly. I will miss her calls from time to time just to catch up and see how things were. It was an honor to have had the opportunity knowing Natalie and she will be dearly missed.
