RONALD WAYNE (JACK) DANNERS September 23 1944 - October 18, 2015 With his wife June and his sister-in-law Joan at his side, Ron Danners passed away peacefully after a lengthy, courageous battle with cancer, at the Selkirk hospital, October 18, 2015. Ron is survived by his wife June Carol Danners; brother Don (Kate); sister Linda; sister-in-law Joan (Steve); brother-in-law Bill (Lauren) and five nephews and nieces, and 14 grand-nephews and nieces. Ron had a strong connection and touched the lives of many family and friends. Ron spent 35 years working for Canadian National Railway (CNR). He made many lifelong friends at CN, who added so much to his life and he to their lives. Ron had many passions. He and his pals enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. Ron made many trips with his friend Wendell Richter to NASCAR and drag-racing events in Brainerd, Minnesota. Ron's most important passion was music and sharing the good-times with friends and family. He was an accomplished musician and loved singing country and western favourites. A private gathering of family and friends is being held to honour and celebrate the life of Ron Danners.
