Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGARRY TODD MONIAS Garry Monias, aged 48, passed away unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, 8:00 a.m., October 14, 2015, in Sioux Lookout, Ontario. In his youth, he spent most of his life in Garden Hill, MB. Garry moved to Sioux Lookout in 2005 where he worked at DJ's the entire time. He will be fondly remembered foremost for his faith on his Lord Jesus. Since his conversion a year ago, through his daily life and personal testimony he impacted many lives. He developed a passion for his newfound salvation; participated with profound zeal with his church family and he attracted friends from all walks of life. In his own way, he displayed charisma reflecting genuine love and care for people he met. Garry is predeceased by his grandfather Cornelius Monias and more recently by his grandmother Margaret Monias, both from Garden Hill, MB. Left to cherish his loving memory is Linda Kitchkeesick and her three daughters, Tanya, Delaney and McKenzie Necan of Sioux Lookout. Also he will be greatly missed by his two sons Joshua and Miskwanigan and his two daughters Karena and Candice Monias. He leaves behind three lovely grandchildren Cheylynn, Shayla and Summer. Left to honour his memories are his parents Wallace and Kelly McKay; his older brother Ronald Monias (Tamer Chubb); his younger brother Trevor McKay and sister Shawenne McKay. He leaves behind numerous aunts and uncles, cousins, and nephews from Garden Hill, St. Theresa Point and Winnipeg, MB. With Rev. Howard Jolly of First Nations Community Church officiating Garry was interred on Monday, October 19 at St. Vital Cemetery in Winnipeg where his grandmother was also laid to rest.
