JUNE ELAINE JOHNSON (MILTON) June 4, 1936 - October 24, 2015 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, June Elaine Johnson (Milton), on Saturday, October 24, 2015. June was predeceased by her parents Charles and Eladda Milton, brothers Carl and Reginald, and sisters Evelyn (Cooke) and Doreen (MacFarlane). Left to cherish her memory are her children Wanda (Tobias Randell), Jeffrey (Cindy), David (Petra), Vernon (Jackie) and Darren, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family and friends. June was born and raised in Edgett's Landing, New Brunswick. She married in 1954, moving to Ontario in 1969 where she was employed as a Nurses' Aide. She moved to Winnipeg in 1982 and was an active participant in many East Coast events. Her infectious laughter and love of country music created many wonderful memories for her friends and extended "family" within which she was lovingly referred to as "Mom" or "Grandma June". A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 30, 2015 at Wheeler Funeral Home, 1800 Day Street, Winnipeg. Interment to take place at a later date at Greenhill Cemetery, Edgett's Landing, NB.
