SHIRLEY (MARGE) NEPINAK (nee SWAMPY) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt, Marge on October 27, 2015. Wake service is being held from October 28 to 30, 2015 at the St. Alexander Roman Catholic Church Hall, Sagkeeng First Nation, Manitoba. Funeral service will follow in the church on October 30, 2015 at 1:00 pm. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Marge was predeceased by her husband and the love of her life, Gordon Nepinak in 2011, by her parents JBD and Esther Swampy; her brother Ronald (Boyish); her parents-in-law Jerome and Christina Nepinak; her in-laws Roger, Lena, Edwin, Eugene, Marta, Leona, Valentine, Lorraine, John and Albert. She leaves behind to cherish her memory are her children, Kenneth (Wendy), Roberta, Shelley (Conroy), Gordon, Emery and Dillion; her grandchildren, Farrah, Odessa, Kenny, Jacob, Jonas, Shante, Shuneta, Treyson and Sammy; her precious great-granddaughter Maria; her siblings Barbara, John, Helen, Marcel (Audrey), Henry (Frances), Beatrice, Noella, (Morris) and Julia (Johnish), her in-laws Francis, Delia, Gertrude, Rose (Ken), Barbara and Sarah Swampy and by her Uncle George Marge was dedicated to working with children, she got her degree in social work and was a social worker for many years, she decided to foster instead of working and she raised many children. She enjoyed taking them to pow wows, trips, and family gatherings. Thanks to the staff at the Seven Oaks Hospital, Mamawa, Sagkeeng First Nation and to the family members who came by every day for the past six weeks.   • Marge & i grew up together for weekends whenever Mr. & Mrs. Swampy came across the river by boat to visit with her grandparents, and of course us kids would get together and play games and enjoy our company.
