Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBONNIE (BAD GRANDMA) COOPER November 1, 1944 October 23, 2015 Here comes Bad Grandma, sliding sideways into the grave, with a smoke hanging out of her mouth, a dented halo, perfect hair, feathers out of place and wearing her fuzzy white slippers. She now has the answer to one of her most perplexing questions: why did my boys have to leave so soon? So today she's busy playing in the water with them with her mom and dad lovingly watching over. Although Bonnie is having fun in heaven, she is greatly missed down here. The lives of her children Lynn and Rod (and their spouses Ed and Donna), grandsons Ryan and Billy. Her most cherished brother Wayne, and his lovely wife "Lady Bug" (Susie), her favourite nephew Shawn, beloved great-granddaughter Oriana, who loved to call Bad Grandma and Lynn "The Grandmas". Bonnie treasured her relationship with second mom Aunty Phyl. Sister Maureen (George), Bonnie loved the newest addition to our family, Ryan's fiancé Krystal. She had mentioned many times "why couldn't you have found this one first!" Bonnie drove class one semi-truck for the last 50 years of her life. Many people will remember her wearing high heels, lipstick and perfect hair. No matter what she did Bonnie always looked like a lady (but never behaved like one)... Unless of course her other mom, Aunty Phyl, was in close proximity. Then she behaved. Bonnie touched the lives of so many people that chanced to cross her path. She was always willing to offer a caring and helping hand to anyone, at any time. Her unforgettable laugh, a smile that would light an entire room and giving spirit will echo in our ears and hearts for an eternity. Although Bonnie loved flowers, she would tell you "Lynn and Rod have too many *#*#*% flowers". She had so much pride in Ryan for following his family's honoured footsteps by serving his country in the Canadian Armed Forces. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation's in Bonnie's name to: Soldier on Canada, 101 Colonel By Drive, Ottawa, Ontario, K1A 0K2. Thank You all for your thoughtful comments. My Mom was a very unique, wonderful and kind lady who touched the lives of so many people. Some she didn't even know their names! I'm both proud and thankful to have had such an amazing mentor and best friend guiding me into to woman I've become. If it were not for my Mom, I may not have had the belief in myself that I could rip out walls in my home, cut a few openings for doors where I thought they should be, install plumbing fixtures, replace windows and doors etc. One of the greatest gifts my mother gave me was the knowledge that I could do anything in life I wanted and never get stuck in the thought or belief that any particular task was only to be done by a male or a female. Thanks to her I turned out to be a pretty good carpenter! Plumbing is another mater. Thank You Again, Lynn Doell - Posted by: Lynn Doell (Daughter) on: Nov 08, 2015

Our very sincere condolences to all of Bonnies family. Although we haven't known Bonnie very long, we thoroughly enjoyed her friendly personality. We regret that she will not be able to share all the related past memories with us. Her love for her family was very evident. - Posted by: W & B Nairne () on: Oct 31, 2015
