Date of Passing: Oct 28, 2015
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPAT JAMESON June 14, 1951 - October 28, 2015 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our Pat. She leaves to mourn her life partner Larry Etheridge and son Jace, sisters Barb, Lynda (Tim) and brother John (Terry), along with many nieces and nephews, family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents John and Rikka, and sister Shirley. Pat will always be remembered as a selfless and caring individual with a sense of humour that appreciated the incredulous things in life. Raised in the West End, Pat and her cronies ruled the streets around Clifton. She enjoyed a long career in the insurance business before going to work with Madick Law where she enjoyed many years before her illness. Her nieces and nephews always enjoyed their thoroughly organized and entertaining sleepovers with Aunty Patsy and Uncle Larry. She enjoyed watching sports with her guys, a good game of cards and visits to "the Big House" to master Keno. She took great pride in her crafty creations and mastery in the kitchen. The family would like to thank the staff at St. Boniface Hospital and CancerCare Manitoba. We appreciate everyone's prayers and support. As per Pat's wishes there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to Siloam Mission. Wojcik's Funeral Chapel, 2157 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, MB in care of arrangements 204.897.4665. I knew Pat just from helping out the law office sometimes when things got to be a little bit hectic. I can honestly say that some of my favorite conversations were with Pat. She made me laugh and made me always look forward to our next talk. I am truly sorry someone as amazing as this woman is gone. My thoughts and prayers are with her family. - Posted by: Janet Latham (co-worker ) on: Nov 17, 2015

I knew Pat for many years. I remember her as a very strong woman with a witty sense of humor, hard worker, and most dedicated person (employee)to my mother who she worked so closely for my mom's entire law career. She was driven and dedicated to her family, work, and passions outside of the office. I remember her sacrcastic sense of humor, and jokingly "tough" exterior as she helped inspire me at times to work hard and be a good daughter. Pat, you will be missed by all! Sending the family prayers and sympathy at this difficult time. You will always be remembered! My thoughts are with you. - Posted by: Alysha Fox (friend (Michele Madick's (lawyer) daughter) (known throughout my life) ) on: Nov 02, 2015

Pat worked for me for many years until she left me suddenly in November of last year, after a diagnosis. I loved Pat and her devotion to her career and sense of humour got me through many years. I first met Pat in 1980 when she worked for Johnson Insurance @ Kenaston Village mall. I was a brand new lawyer and her huge heart, sometimes hidden by her tough exterior, and wonderful sense of humour drew me close to her. When she left the insurance industry, she came to work for me at Madick Law and she was my "gatekeeper", my loyal assistant, side by side we worked. Together we shared the birth of our children, the loss of her mom, and the loss of my parents. Patsy, as we affectionately referred to her as, loved to pride herself on her tough Irish background, but the truth is, Pat's heart was made of gold. She always had time for her mom Rikka, her sisters Shirley, Lynda and Barb, her brother Johnny and her dear sister-in-law Terry, as well as her nieces Leah, Shannon and Calli, and later, all of their children, her great nieces and nephews. Pat always had loving stories to share of her visits with all of her great nieces and nephews, playing "mean teacher" with Evan and DeShawn, as she had with Jace and Shannon and the children in the neighbourhood. She had time for all of them and they always looked forward to their sleepovers with Auntie Patsy and Uncle Larry, lovingly preparing for their visits, with trips to the store to purchase them special crafts or their favourite foods. Pat had room in her big heart for all of them. As my long term employee, she ran my office like a tight ship, and my clients knew she would work hard to get the job done. Nobody was more organized than my Pat. Bright, witty, and organized, we enjoyed a long relationship, working together side by side, to get our closings done. Never did she call in sick, she had the most amazing work ethic and is irreplaceable in so many ways. So Pat, I am thinking you are at the Big House in Heaven, winning $9600.00 at Keno and sharing your stories with your mom and sister. You were like a sister to me and there is something missing at Madick Law since you left November 2014. Rest in peace my dear friend!! - Posted by: Michele Madick (long time employer and dear friend, partner in crime) on: Oct 31, 2015
