  • I was so sad when I heard of Gerry's passing. He was my foster dad in the 70's he opened his home to a lot of children and his heart to anybody who needed it. He taught me how to fish at Lac Du Bonnet Manitoba. He directed me on the right path of life he really cared about his foster children. After years passed we got in touch again he always had time to listen and be there for me. He always had a big smile on his face when I saw him. He always called me sunshine in the morning he was so happy and always woke me up with that smile and good morning sunshine I always had a great day how could I not. He will be missed. He was the best carpenter I knew. My heart goes out to his sisters and brother. - Posted by: Susie (Foster Daughter) on: Nov 12, 2015
