JESSIE (ELIZABETH) RUBY Passed peacefully away at the Grace General Hospital, Winnipeg, MB, on Sunday, October 25, 2015, Elizabeth Ruby, age 74 years. Predeceased by her parents, Gordon and Sybil (nee Moore) Ruby. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her sister and best friend Sylvia Ruby, Montreal, QC; and best friend Georgina Sanford, Winnipeg, MB. Also left to mourn, many cousins in St. John's, Grand Falls, North Bay, and Kingston; lifelong friends Jean Hallett, Joyce Perrier and Herbert Barnes; as well as her sorority sisters from Beta Sigma Phi in both Winnipeg and St. John's. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Wednesday, November 4 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. A celebration honouring Elizabeth's life will take place at Barrett's Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. A private family interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery will be held at a later date.
