GWENDOLYN EDITH TROOP (née GOODRIDGE) August 12, 1928 - October 31, 2015 Gwen passed away with family by her side on October 31, 2015 in Edmonton, AB after a short illness. She was 87 years old. Gwen is survived by her children, Larry Bradley (Pat) of Guelph, ON; Pamela Weir (Gordon) of Edmonton, AB; Joni Bradley (George Raphael) of Calgary, AB; Timothy Bradley (Wendy Kodama) of Calgary, AB; Cynthia Incze (Bela) of Ottawa, ON; and specially chosen daughter Pattie Moffatt and her family of Portage la Prairie, MB. Fondly remembered by her 13 grandchildren, Chett Bradley (Gabriel Islas), Stefanie Bradley (James Van Dyk), Cody Bradley (Stacey Lynn); Kevin Weir (Debbie), Jennifer Feltmate (Daniel), Melanna Heebner (Mark), Ian Weir (Mandie), Valerie Adams (Justin); Justin Norell (Silke Stubbe), Feradawn Peden (David); Garrett Incze, Timon Incze, Trevor Incze; and 15 great-grandchildren. She also raised five stepchildren. Her sister Dorothy Hotel (Roy, deceased) survives. She was predeceased by her husband of 41 years, Orval Troop; her parents Harry and Betty Goodridge; and her brother Garry Goodridge (Eva). Many cousins, nieces and nephews also mourn her passing. Visitation will take place at McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel on Thursday, November 5, 2015 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A funeral service is scheduled for Friday, November 6, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the William Glesby Centre, 11 - 2nd St. NE in Portage la Prairie. Private interment service immediately following at the Hillside Cemetery while friends gather at the Trinity United Church lower auditorium for a reception.
