AVERIE RENE HOLLANDS January 12, 1994 - October 31, 2015 It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beautiful angel. Tragically on Saturday, October 31, 2015 Averie passed away peacefully. She will be deeply missed by all her family, her grandmother Ruth Twerdochlib; grandpa Don Rogers; parents, John and Sharon Hollands; sisters, Lacey, Amey (Nikolas Young) and Megan; brother Coltin as well as nieces Uhriya and Myla; nephew, Lyle and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Averie was predeceased by her grandparents Bea (Rogers) and Bill Hollands and Steve Twerdochlib. Averie was a beautiful, outgoing, cheery person. She loved all things nature be it birds, flowers, frogs, cats, or critters. She loved her art and taking pictures. She loved her family and was always game for a fishing trip. Averie enjoyed walking, she was a devoted employee and she loved spending time with her nieces and nephew. As wished by her parents Averie will be cremated. The family wishes to celebrate her life in a private ceremony. We send our deepest heartfelt gratitude to the Arborg fire department as well as David and Ricky members of the RCMP, and the surrounding community for there continuing support throughout. In lieu of flowers we ask donations be made in Averie's honour to the Canadian Diabetes Association. Rest in peace our beautiful angel you are forever in our hearts.

  • Averie was so out going and she was coolest friend I've ever had, morning studies with each other, art, or working out. I remember we had alot in common. I still think of her to this very day, remembering her Go hard or Go Home spirit.   • That laugh with a snort, those eyes of pure gentleness, that face forever remembered, and that personality that will forever live on. You were one of the strongest people I know. Always in a good mood, only have I ever seen you cry once from a horrible headache you had.. You were always so hard on yourself, but always gave that lift that other people needed.   • One of my most distinct memories with Averie was when we were still in grades 7 and 8 and were on the schoolyard talking about how much we wanted as couldn't wait to get our noses pierced. There was also our grade 9/10 French class we had had together when I learned how artistic she really was. I got to see her awesome doodles and sketches and I a group project she made this really amazing rose out of Play-Doh!   • My heart was broken when I heard she was missing and torn to hear the outcome. Averie was definitely a good kid, soft spoken and had a big heart. Never once did I hear her put anyone down. She always had something good to say about everyone.
