PETER L. RICHES It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Peter Lawrence Riches on October 25, 2015 at the age of 70 years. Peter was predeceased by his parents, Lawrence and Henrietta Riches (nee Whinham). Peter will be lovingly remembered by his sister, Pam Cajiao, brother-in-law Paul, niece Rachael and nephews, Mark, Damian and Jeremy with extended family and many friends. Peter was born in Hartlepool, County Durham, United Kingdom. Upon receiving his Higher National Certificate of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from Hartlepool College at 16 years, he served a five year Industrial Engineering Apprenticeship with General Electric Company in England. Peter will be remembered fondly for the integrity passion and easy going professionalism he displayed in his lengthy Senior Management careers with AEI Telecommunications Canada, GEC Canada Limited, GEC Plessey Telecommunications and as Vice President of Operations at Atlas Graham Industries where he retired in 2012. Peter enjoyed his personal life fully with the same zeal and passion he displayed in business with inexhaustible energy and commitment. No service will be held as to Peter's request. Peter was generous in his support of many charities and would like his friends to share their good fortunes with their favorite charities.
