Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryOLIVER GEORGE JOSEPH GRATTON March 5, 1937 - October 28, 2015 After a short, courageous battle with cancer, at St. Boniface Hospital, Oliver George Joseph Gratton passed away with his family by his side. Oliver will be lovingly remembered by his daughters Kim (Bremen) Sum of Vancouver, BC; Shannon (Barry) Peterson and grandsons Cole and Mark Peterson from Hermosa Beach, CA; his sister Gabrielle Harvey from Arizona and his brother Dennis (Denice) Gratton from Minnesota; also Oliver's best friends Ron and Marrianne Doerr of Winnipeg. Kim and Shannon would like to thank Vicki and Colin Demarcke, Anni Markmann and the staff on Medicine Ward 5E at the St. Boniface Hospital for all their hard work, care, compassion and guidance. Thank you to all our friends and family for the support and kind words through this most difficult time. Oliver was cremated at Wheeler Funeral Home. His remains will be brought back to California for a private family service.

Oliver, you were a very special cousin. When I last saw you, I was leaving your hospital room & I blew you a kiss and you gave me that beautiful smile which will be forever etched in my memory.
