FRANK MCKAY aka Chounonoun (1925-2002) In Memory And those of his family members who are with him in Heaven - Agnes Lavallee (1987), George (1972), Jerry (2009), Julien (1961), Joseph who died at birth (1963) and son-in-law Richard Bilsborrow (2013). Abain Cripes Paapaa sa fais aen iscous ti parchi. On parle di twais souvan si jour icit pi on saen rapel di tout sort dafair. Frank was a very good story teller and it was during the winter months that this happened. And now with the winter fast approaching his family remembers sitting on the floor and listening to him and his friend Fraancwais spin the most elaborate tales you can imagine. The trick of Metis storytelling at least in those days was for the story to at least contain one bit of truth and those listening had to determine what part was truth and what part was fiction. We remember sitting there being captured by the images in our minds that dad's stories used to conjure up. Although some of us tell stories today none of us have ever come close to his skill. Com on jizai ti tais aen bon blageur. Those were good days and good times. We love you and miss you all. In remembrance, a mass will be said on Sunday November 15th at 10:00 a.m. in St. Laurent.
