Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVIOLET ADA DILLON (nee PALMER) March 5, 1925 - November 5, 2015 Vi Dillon passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, in Calgary, AB. She is survived by her daughters Lynn (Ron) Wharton, Jackie (Steve) Pascal, and Wendy (Laurie) Firth; her six grandchildren, Julie, Brett, Chris, Amy, Rachel, and Danielle; eleven great-grandchildren; her much loved brothers Jim (Marilyn) Palmer and Reg (Isabel) Palmer, and her many nieces and nephews. Vi was predeceased by her husband of 51 years Pat Dillon in 2004. Vi was born and raised in St. James, Manitoba, moved to Vancouver in 1970, and to Calgary in 2003. She leaves many good friends in all these places. Vi worked at Hudson's Bay in Winnipeg and at Creative Goldsmiths in Vancouver. She was also a member of Beta Sigma Phi. The family wishes to thank the staff at Chinook Park at Chinook Care Centre and Dr. Dafina for all their care and compassion. A private family service will be held.
