PAUL POLISCHUK Paul Polischuk, born January 29, 1928, peacefully passed on November 8, 2015 surrounded by family at University Hospital in London, Ontario. He leaves behind his wife Claudia (nee Kulachok) of 22 years, and his favourite sister-in- law Irene Cook of Winnipeg, Manitoba. Predeceased by his sisters, Alice Unrau and Anne Kroeker of Manitoba. Uncle to Leslie and Linda Unrau of Peterborough, Ontario and his two nieces Lisa and Rock Duffy of Scottsdale, Arizona, and Karen and Richard Earl of Victoria, British Columbia. Father to Mary Anne and Dave Reid of London, grandfather of Vanessa and Chris Cirella, and Evan and Laura Reid of St. Thomas, and great-grandfather to Rachel and William Reid, and Jaden and Tristan Cirella of St. Thomas. Paul worked for Safeway in Thunder Bay as a sales representative until his retirement. He then moved to Red Rock, Ontario with his wife Claudia after retirement. Paul enjoyed the simple things in life, an occasional Black Russian, the songs of ABBA and a good steak cooked on the barbeque. He had a passion for the outdoors with fishing and hunting at the top of his list, with cooking as his indoor pastime. He was an active member in the Red Rock Fish and Game, and Legion. He moved to London in 2001 to be closer to his extended family. It was Paul's wishes to have a private family interment at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in London. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or your favourite charity would be appreciated on behalf of his memory. Donations and condolences can be made through London Cremation Services 519-672-0459 or online at www.londoncremation.com
