  • Bill was a great neighbour and friend. He worked hard to support his family. He always had a friendly smile and greeting. We loved talking with him about his beautiful Geraniums. We watched Bill watering and tending to his Geraniums and flowers with loving care. We will miss him greatly. Our condolences to the family.B - Posted by: Evelyn & Chuck Reid (neighbour & freind) on: Nov 21, 2015

  • I remember the way Uncle Bill would smile.. He had the laugh lines around his eyes that made them twinkle..another hola player around the table. - Posted by: Tammy (Neice) on: Nov 20, 2015

  • We never had the pleasure of meeting Bill but we knew a lot of him as John would tell us stories of his dad getting up in the wee hours and heading off to work and how his dad worked so hard to provide a safe and loving home for his family. This past summer John and Tara helped us in our yard and we even used Bill's post auger which Bill had for many many years! Bill knew we worked hard and even gave John $20 to treat all of us for coffee. Tara would tell us stories of how Bill (grandpa) was so good to Brady teaching him many things over the years. Our deepest condolences to the entire family xoxoxo thinking of you - Posted by: Sandy & Rob Burland (friends of John and Tara) on: Nov 18, 2015

  • Sorry to hear about Uncle Bills passing. Helped him deliver bread in my younger years, had a great time doing that, there was never a dull moment on those Saturdays. Uncle Bill was always a real nice person to me. Carmen & I were so lucky that we were able to see him this summer when we were in Winnipeg. - Posted by: Lawrenc & Carmen Chrusch (Nephew) on: Nov 16, 2015

  • Uncle Bill was such a special person in our lives. WE always looked forward to his visits to Red lake and then later Thunder Bay.Whenever I had the opportunity to be in Winnipeg I always knew that I would be welcomed by him and his family. My Father Mike loved him deeply and when they were together their laughter could be heard around the world I am sure. They were so much fun to be around. Hugs to Auntie Helen and Family.Take Care Mike - Posted by: MIKE PERON (Nephew) on: Nov 14, 2015
