ORLENE DAWN SELLAR STOW It is with extreme sorrow that we announce the passing of Orlene in her current home city of Miami Beach, Fl. She was a wife to Christopher, a mother to Anouk, a daughter of Dave and Linda, a sister to Mandie (Dave) and Shane (Megan), an aunt to Madeleine and Mijanou, a niece, a cousin, and a friend to many . She was a crusader for animal rights, a Sioux fashion designer and activist. To honor and celebrate her life, memorials have been held in London, UK, and New York. A full moon drumming circle led by Eugene Gant took place on the beach in Miami. Family and friends gathered November 1 to once more pay tribute to this truly unique woman. We, the family would like to thank the organizers and participants. We are overwhelmed by the outpouring of love, tributes, and verses from her friends and the song "Morning on the Mountaintop" written and recorded by Scott Nolan for Orlene. Love you forever and always Or. Cremation has taken place and there will not be a service in Winnipeg.
