She loved crocheting many wonderful colorful patterns she could think of, and often donated to hospitals or charities that could use them. Victoria loved having her family around her and especially loved having her great-grandchildren around, She was wonderful at telling us many life stories. Victoria suffered many years from COPD and lived a very hard painful life with only one lung. She is a cancer survivor. Her last months of life were the hardest for her, Victoria was a strong willed women, and she constantly beat the odds and continued to move with the flow of life. We're so thankful she had wonderful staff to provide her the care she needed both at home, and at Deer Lodge, in her time of need You made our moms last days as comfortable as possible and we all thank you dearly. Mom: If flowers grow in heaven, Lord, then pick a bunch for me. Then place them in my mother's arms And tell her they're from me. Tell her that I love and miss her And when she turns to smile, Place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for a while. We love you mom and grandma. In Lieu of flowers please make a donation to Cancer Care Manitoba. For those who wish to sign the online Guest Book please visit our website. Chapel Lawn www.chapellawn.ca 204-885-9715
