Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • My condolences to Marian, Cindy and Randy as well as the Hardwick family. Stoogie, a leader always, a mentor, a labour figurehead and a brother to local 5442 at the mill. Your integrity and passion for the labour movement and continued support of your community allowed all of us at the mill to be a force to be heard. Thank you Eugene. - Posted by: Tony Sproule (Union brother, family friend) on: Nov 16, 2015

  • A man with a million dollar smile, so many good story's, so many good memory's! You will be missed! - Posted by: Vaughn & Sandra Atkins (Good Freinds) on: Nov 16, 2015

  • So sorry for your loss. Stoogie was a good friend who was always there to support me and other women as we made our way into leadership positions in the labour movement. He was also a wonderful mentor; teaching, guiding, encouraging all the way. I daresay the labour movement grew and prospered in Manitoba (and elsewhere)because of the leadership and energy of Stoogie. His passing is a loss. - Posted by: Susan Hart-Kulbaba (Union sister) on: Nov 16, 2015
