Beloved husband of Linda (Gibson) Hofstede. Dear father of Tammy Ducharme, Becky Mardynalka and Daniel Ducharme. Loving grandfather of Clifton, Jessica, Diamond, Jayden, River, Natalie and River. Dear brother of Lorne Ducharme, Margaret (George) Cooper and Muriel (Brian) Ricker. Through the years Roger and Linda travelled to worldwide destinations. Special thanks to Dr. Corpus, Palliative Care Dr. Bharucha, nurses and all of the PSW workers and VON for their care and compassion. At Roger's request, no visitation or service will be held. As a kid, I always thought Roger was the coolest guy I ever met. That remained true into my adult life, right up until he passed. I loved talking to him because not only was he interesting with all his stories of his adventures, he was interested in life. I feel grateful I got to see him a couple weeks ago and was able to tell him how much I loved him and how much he inspired me to travel as well. I will miss Roger so much. I know we all will.
