Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBARBARA (BARB) PAUL Barbara Eve Paul was an incredible and unforgettable wife, mother, Safta, daughter, sister and friend. She passed away peacefully on November 9, 2015 at Health Sciences Centre, after a valiant battle with leukemia, in the embrace of the love of her life and husband of 39 years, Rory Paul. Barb will be missed deeply by her loving children, Ryan (Amanda) Paul and Alisha (Jonathan) Dart, her adorable grandchildren, Roan Dart and Asher Paul, her adoring parents, Shirley and Sam Kleiman, her sister Cheryl (Gary) Minuk, and her mother-in-law, Elaine Paul. Barb will also be missed by her sisters-in-law Andria (Greg) Rodin, Carla Paul and Marcia Paul, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Her brother Marc Kleiman and her father-in-law Leonard Paul predecease Barb. There are not enough words to fully express the many relationships and connections that Barb cultivated and nurtured over the years. Across lifelong friendships, over 35 years as an educator, administrator and mentor in first the Fort Garry School Division and then the Pembina Trails School Division, Barb was a person who practiced true generosity and unconditional love. When Barb became ill her circle extended even further to the nurses and doctors of the GD6 unit and CancerCare Manitoba who waged the greatest battle imaginable to give her what she called, "bonus time". Her family and friends can never say enough thank yous. Barb was truly a marvel to all that knew her, and was fulfilled in knowing she had lived and created an outstanding life surrounded by her people'. Barb will forever be remembered, in our hearts, our memories and through the many gifts she shared with us. Barb's funeral was held on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at Shaarey Zedek Synagogue. Pallbearers were Joel Grosh, Greg Rodin, Isaac Rodin, Yale Chochinov, Danny Nelko and Hart Sera. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Rory and Barb Paul and Family Fund at the Jewish Foundation of Manitoba, 204-477-7520, to support camperships for children to attend B'nai Brith Jewish Community Camp or the charity of your choice.

Rory - even though no contact for many years when I saw this wanted to give you my sincere condolences on the loss of your wife. You should know from no more sorrow and should be remembered amongst those mourners of Yerushalyim and Zion. Regards to your dear mother.
