Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBERYL EILEEN KEYES On November 14, 2015 after a long and blessed life, our mother Beryl Eileen Keyes passed away peacefully at Woodgrove Manor, Nanaimo, BC. She was predeceased by her husband Arnold. Beryl is survived by her daughter Diana (David); son Peter (Linda); grandchildren: Liz, Dana, Jennifer, Jeremy, Christie and Corey. She was born on January 10, 1922 in England. At the age of 17 joined the land army during the Second World War - 1939. During this time she met Arnold. They married and later immigrated to Canada in June 1957, with their children. She completed her Fine Arts at the University of Manitoba. After the passing of her husband she moved to Nanaimo where she continued to cultivate her love of the arts. Her gift of art is reflected through her many paintings, cards and teddy bears. Beryl, mom, grandmother, great-grandmother was a unique and special person, she loved her family and her family loved her. She will be missed. Cremation has taken place.
