SAMUEL (BARRY) HUTCHINGS Samuel "Barry" Hutchings, 79, of Winnipeg, Manitoba passed away peacefully on Friday, November 20, 2015. He spent the last days of his life surrounded by his loved ones. Barry is survived by his wife Bonnie of 25 years; daughter Sharon (Dwayne); sons David (Dona) and Chris (Tamara); granddaughters, Samantha, Hope and Isabella; and grandsons, Grayson and Kieran. Barry was a loving husband, proud father and doting grandfather. Barry spent his entire professional life employed by Air Canada, starting as an office boy, and ultimately retiring after 36 years as Superintendent of Maintenance for Western Canada. He loved sports, playing and coaching basketball, was an avid golfer and enjoyed curling and bowling. Barry's family would like to offer special thanks to the staff at Oakview Extendicare and the Grace General Hospital for the caring attention they provided. Services will be held at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Headingley on Thursday, November 26, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba.
