Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryESME ALEXANDRIA (SAM) GOODISON Aged 88 years, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2015 at River East Personal Care Home in East Kildonan. Esme was born July 9, 1927 in Bournemouth, England. She was predeceased by the love of her life James Vincent Goodison in 2008. Together they spent many wonderful years enjoying life, travelling and spending time with friends and family. Left behind are her children: Dona (Dennis) and family; Lorraine (Brian) and family; Carl (Anne) and family; Rob (Shawna) and family; Greg (Shannon) and family; and Charlotte (boyfriend Vic) and family; her younger sister Pearl; very special nephew Joe Shay and family of Bay City, Michigan, and many friends are also left behind to celebrate her life. The family would like to extend many heartfelt thanks to all the staff of River East Personal Care Home for the loving care during her last few years. As Esme and Jimmy planned, before both of their passings, there will be no formal service, but a small gathering of family in the spring of 2016 where they first met and fell in love. Arrangements are provided by Wojciks Funeral Services & Cremation.

What a beautiful lady Esme is. I just met and knew her at the care home over the past year. She always had a sweet smile, made the best of things, and looked for the good in situations. Her friendly disposition and words were always caring and uplifting. When she was having a difficult time and I would try to help and encourage her, she would still always be caring and kind and oh so thankful.
