Mom was predeceased by her husband Bert; parents Robert and May Crawford; brother Harold; sister-in-law Margaret Crawford; brothers-in-law Percy Brown, Marvin Popham and John Chranowski, and sisters-in-law Alva Askew and Audrey Wilson. Mom was always a stay at home mother. During the war she worked for her father in the family business at Crawford's Garage. Mom was a meticulous homemaker who loved to cook, bake and entertain. She was very creative and we have many handmade quilts, sweaters and ornaments in our home to remind of us of her talent. Mom and Dad worked together to build their cottage at Ponemah where they spent their leisure time. Many family memories were made during times at the cottage. Mom loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family would like to express their thanks for the wonderful, compassionate care she received while on the Palliative Care Unit at St. Boniface Hospital, as well as to her caregivers, Mave, Rita and Abeba. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Calvary Temple Sick and Needy Fund or Media Ministries. Funeral service 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 26, 2015 at Calvary Temple, 400 Hargrave Street, in the Buntain Chapel, with viewing one hour prior. Mom we will miss you!
