MARK ANDRE CORBETT It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved father, brother and friend. Mark passed away Saturday, November 21, 2015. Born 1957 in Trenton, Ontario. He was the son of, and predeceased by, his father William A. Corbett and Mary Geraldine Corbett (Arbuckle). He leaves behind his beloved daughter Stephanie Eve Corbett, and his faithful friend Yvonne Corbett both of Winnipeg, Manitoba; his siblings Margaret (Dave) of Elmsdale, NS, Sharon (Robert) of Dartmouth NS; Heather (Bill) of London, ON; Peter (Arlene) of London ON; Kevin (Vada) of Dartmouth, NS; Ramona (Roger) of Brockville, ON; and Stephanie (Dale) of Dartmouth, NS. Mark graduated high school in Chatham, NB (James M Hill Memorial High) where his natural athletic abilities showed in such sports as golf, tennis, softball and hockey. He loved to play with his mates on the CP Rail Hockey Team "Winnipeg Thunder" in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He remained active in sports till the end. Mark was employed with CP Rail in Winnipeg as a conductor for 34 years, retiring in 2012. Mark retired to his "old stomping grounds" in Miramichi, NB where he was once a past President of "Teen Town", a term he served with pride and remembered fondly in his "Base Brat Days". He was an avid traveler to many exotic locals such as Thailand, Mexico, Jamaica and China. Mark loved to welcome his many friends and family to visit him at "The Shire". Mark lived life to the fullest, scuba diving, boating, fishing, skydiving and riding his Hyabusa. The list of his activities was long. Mark was always full of life and was known to always have a twinkle in his eye. He was currently working on his certification for "Ground Search and Rescue", as he valued all life, and wanted to help others. Mark was passionate about love, life and laughter. Rest well our sweet Marco, yours was a life well lived, and a new journey now begins. Please toast a celebration of his life with us at Sunset 4:38 p.m., wherever you are, Wednesday, November 25. Family and close friends will have a sunset remembrance at his home saying farewell to our twinkling star now fixed firmly in the Heavens.
