WALTER SENESHEN We announce with sadness the passing of our dad, grandfather and great-grandfather, Walter Seneshen on December 1, 2015 at the age of 84. Walter is survived by his children Robert (Kathy) Morris, Beverly (Perry) Lynn, Elsie (Larry), eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and by many nieces and nephews and their families. He is survived by his sister Shirley from Denver, by his children's mother Helen and his second wife Helen La Bach. He was predeceased by his son Jamie, his parents Leon and Anna, and his siblings John, Mary, Pauline, Mike, Nellie, and Peter. Walter was born October 10, 1931 in Rama, SK. He moved to Winnipeg in 1948. He was a very active person. His hobbies were fishing, swimming, curling, playing cards, Bingo and dancing. He loved nature. He was a member of the Khartum Shriners since 1976 as a mason. He was affiliated with the Charleswood Shriners in Winnipeg and continued with the Shriners in Saskatoon. He enjoyed being with the people at Fairfield Seniors Club, volunteer work, committee work in general, just being a helping hand to his family and friends. Working for CN for 28 years. Moved to Saskatoon in 1984 where he continued to work for CN till his retirement in December 1994. He was a machinist. He had a small landscaping business in Winnipeg, along with working for CN. He lived in Saskatoon and Pike Lake in the summer months and in the winter months went to the Big Island of Hawaii his secondary home. He's travelled to Thailand, Singapore, Japan, and the Hawaii Islands. The family would like to acknowledge the care and compassion offered to the staff at Sherbrooke Community Centre and to his many friends (Ken and Emma) who spent quality time with him and for Ralph looking after his place at Pike Lake. Our Dad was passionate about making a difference in the lives of his family and friends. He was an active member of his churches in Pike Lake, Saskatoon, and Pahoa, Hawaii. In lieu of flowers, we know that Walter would appreciate donations to any local organization that you feel would benefit the community. Living and giving the love of life. Funeral service will be held at Martens Warman Funeral Home, 402 Central St. W., Warman, SK on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery, 1502 2nd Ave. N., Saskatoon, SK.
