Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVERNA LEE SCHLICHTING After a brave battle with cancer, Verna Lee Schlichting (nee Geswein) peacefully passed away on November 24, 2015 at the age of 56. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Cory (Stacey) and Melissa; grandchildren, Marcus and Lucas; brother, Harvey (Georgette); sister Retha (Dwight); brother-in-law, Ken; partner, Terry; and many other extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Herman and Mary; brother, Blake; and sister, Irene. Verna will forever be admired for her strength, generosity, kindness, and infectious smile. In lieu of flowers, and because of her love of animals, we will be collecting donations for D'Arcy's A.R.C. (no-kill animal shelter) at her life celebration. An informal come-and-go celebration of her life will take place on Sunday, December 6, 2015 at Elmwood Curling Club, 300 Brazier Street, Winnipeg from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Bardal Funeral Home 204-774-7474 Condolences www.bardal.ca
